Archaeological Services offers a wide range of cultural resource management consulting abilities. Previous projects completed by Archaeological Services have included archaeological assessment and reconnaissance surveys; Phase 1 site locational field surveys with subsurface testing; Phase 2 site examination excavations and National Register evaluations; and Phase 3 data recovery programs for historic and pre-Contact Native American archaeological resources. Other services include architectural surveys and inventories, National Register nominations, survey and planning grants, and GIS and CAD capability.
Clients of Archaeological Services include federal agencies,
such as the National Park Service;
state agencies, such as the Massachusetts
Department of Conservation and Recreation and the Massachusetts
Highway Department; municipal regulatory organizations that require community-wide
cultural and historic resource studies for planning purposes; and a wide variety
of civil and environmental engineering firms in the Northeast region.
